The Macromatic CAH05A6AJ is a current detection relay. This encapsulated relay has an input voltage of 12V DC. It monitors for over or under current fault and has an output of 10A SPDT. It is used for alternating current with an adjustable range of 0.5 to 5 A and a tripping delay of 0.15 to 7 seconds. When starting, a delay of 6 seconds occurs. The built-in current transformer provides better access and sensitivity since the wire can be wrapped more than once. The encapsulated housing is recommended for use in harsh conditions. Note: The picture is an approximation. The actual part may differ.

The selector allows the user to choose whether the relay monitors above or below current situations. The relay starts to look for potential errors after applying the input voltage. An overcurrent situation occurs when the alternating current exceeds the set fault trip current for longer than the set time delay. The relay will pick up after the time delay and remain energized until the current drops below the reset level. In the case of an undercurrent fault, the current is below the set fault trip current for longer than the time delay. Again, the relay picks up after the time delay and drops as soon as the current exceeds the reset level. The CAH05A6AJ has a red LED that indicates when an error has been found. Has a pilot assignment rate. It is widely used in applications such as process control, locked rotor check or load loss, or open heater or lamp.
